Acrylic on watercolor paper • 2003 (ish)
I created the background by painting the watercolor paper (possibly with watercolors. I don’t remember). Letting it dry, and then applying acrylic on top with a paint roller. Then, before it dried, I scrapped that layer off with a pallet knife or something revealing the first coat underneath. I remember thinking, “This looks rad! I’m going to do this all the time.” Aaaaand, that was the last time I did it.
