Way back in early 2000 a spritely young artist thought it was about time he started his own comic strip. Having an “in” at The Daily Targum (he worked there) he birthed Spaceland. The premise was simple: An idiot alien, his best robot pal and giant space fly all live together in an apartment complex in space. Spaceland was published only for one year until which time the artist realized that having to draw something funny every day was exhausting. I was that artist. I can’t promise they’ll be funny. I can’t promise good grammar or spelling. I can’t even promise that they’re drawn well. But here it is; my first comic strip.
